Banana House / Sunset Villas / West End / Roatan

After visiting Roatan over 10 times, and exploring other tropical islands and counties, we found that the people, the food, and the activities are the best to be had.

 It doesn't hurt that every sunset is spectacular and the beaches are in the top 10 in the world. Oh, and the SCUBA if phenominal!

We've always felt safe,  we've always thought the prices were reasonable, and we've enjoyed all the different seasons.

We have tried areas all over the island. From First Bight, West Bay, Sandy Bay, Tamarind Ridge, Lighthouse Estates, the Turrets.  They were all great, but...

 West End just has something different. We can walk everywhere.  We aren't stuck in a house where you feel you have to drive everywhere. We aren't stuck up a steep hill that's impossible to walk up or down. And last but not least, we aren't on the beach with the sand flies.

We've really tried to make our home as comfortable as possible.  It's set up the way we'd want it if we were there.  It's not super fancy, but has everything you could want or need.  It's the kind of house your not afraid to put your feet up on the coffee table.

There's lots of spaces to either gather together or spread far apart.  There are decks off every level including a crows nest that's perfect for sun worshipers or stargazers.

It's up built into the lush tropical foliage, with Hummingbirds and Butterflies galore.
